Dr. Bana

Dr. Kailash Banasure, DVM (Dr. Bana)

I obtained my DVM degree from Nagpur Veterinary College, Nagpur (India) in 1997. I also hold a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. I rejoined the HRAH team in September 2014 and am very excited to serve my old as well as new clients again in Warren and surrounding areas.
I now have almost 5 years of experience caring for the pets. I can perform majority of the soft tissue surgeries and also have an interest in orthopedic surgeries. I like to educate clients on pet health issues and strongly believe in preventive pet health care. I am passionate about internal medicine as well and like challenging medical cases as well as emergencies.
After completing my accreditation to practice Veterinary Medicine in North America, I have worked both in Canada and United States during the last 5 years. I like learning new things in Veterinary Medicine and keep my knowledge up to date by attending continuing education seminars, conferences and hand on training wet labs, journals etc.
In my free time, I like to swim, listen to music, and watch movies and sports. At home, I have three adorable feline kids; Kitkur, Timbit (both Canadians/Newfies), and Orca, the American). All were rescued as stray kittens at the hospitals I was working at the time. I look forward to see you during your next visit to Hoover Road Animal Hospital.

Cassie Oviatt - Veterinary Technician

Cassie Oviatt - Veterinary Technician

Cassie is a veterinary technician here at Hoover Road Animal Hospital. Animals have always been a part of her life since she was little. She has had a lot of animals, dogs, a cat, turtles, birds and a ferret. Always wanting to work with animals and help them, she went to school and became a dog trainer in 2008. This made her want to work with animals even more and help them, so she left her job as a preschool teacher of 10 years and decided to go back to school become a veterinary technician.
She is very excited to become a veterinary technician after her graduation from Baker College in June of 2013. In her free time she enjoys spending every moment she can with her son, family, friends and her Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Colby. Her interests are anything to do with the outdoors such as canoeing, camping, softball, jet skiing and going to the beach. She looks forward to meeting and working with you and your pet at our facility.
